Onion dedication

We had a great time seeing everybun cuddling with (and in some cases barely tolerating) their human counterparts. 

This week we said our goodbyes to our friend Onion (@Onion004) so we dedicate this week's highlights to him and his mum. We miss you Onion.

Hello all,

We were devastated to learn the passing of our dear friend Onion (@Onion004).

Onion was one of the buns who helped us create the first BunPicsMonday. He was an amazing rabbit, whose handsome little face brought us all smiles. We could tell that Onion was very much loved by his mum, whom he loved very much in return. 

We'd like to dedicate this week's theme of 'buns interacting with their humans' to Onion— fitting, because his mum and him were so close. 

To Onion: Thank you so much for sharing your life and adventures with us. It is because of beautiful, special buns like you that help people realize how truly unique rabbits are. We will never forget your big soft ears, and gorgeous big eyes. You have forever changed the lives of people and buns around the world. We will all carry you in our hearts always until we see you again. Binky free and high over the rainbow bridge Onion. Many nuzzles and nosebonks from all your friends.

Bun Olympians Win Carrots!

As expected, buns of the twitterverse showed the human pretenders which species are better at competing at the olympics. Thanks to all who posted and to Patti Fallon (@PeaceLoveRabbit) for the great idea!

In the swimming category, Takeshi Wilkinson (@TakeshiTheBrave) came out binkies ahead of the competition.

In track and field, Nutmeg (@Nutmeg_Bun) has clearly been working out! With her mane blowing in the wind, the competition was left in the dust!

Apparently humans have gathered to see which among them is most skilled at various physical activities. 

We all know this is ridiculous. Mix some rabbits in there, and there would be no competition. Rabbits would take over the podiums!
